How OpenStay Works
A structured path from application to operating partnership.
OpenStay is designed to help owners move from uncertainty to clarity through a simple, seven-step engagement model.

The Process
From application to ongoing optimization.
- 01↓
See If Your Property Qualifies.
Owners begin by submitting a short qualification request. This helps us understand your property, your ownership situation, and what you're working toward.
- 02↓
Introductory Conversation.
A focused conversation about current operations, goals, and where operating support could make the biggest difference.
- 03↓
Mutual Fit Review.
Both sides evaluate whether OpenStay is the right operating partner for your property, your timeline, and your independence goals.
- 04↓
Participation Agreement.
If there is alignment, we move forward with a participation agreement outlining the scope of the pilot engagement.
- 05↓
Private OpenStay Property Assessment.
Each participating property receives a private, property-specific assessment after the formal relationship begins. The assessment becomes the foundation for implementation and ongoing improvement.
- 06↓
Implementation.
We introduce the operating systems, reporting, and support structure designed specifically for your hotel.
- 07
Ongoing Optimization.
We meet regularly to review performance, refine execution, and identify the next opportunities for improvement.
Built on a few simple principles.
Independence is preserved. OpenStay does not take ownership, franchise the hotel, or require a rebrand. Owners remain in control.
Support is structured. Every engagement begins with discovery and ends with a clear operating plan. We do not promise results we cannot influence.
Technology is a tool, not the product. We help select and operate systems that fit the hotel, without locking owners into a single provider.
Clarity is the goal. Reporting, workflows, and public presence should help owners make better decisions with greater confidence.
See if your property is a fit.
A brief qualification request is the first step toward the Founding 50 pilot.
